Call for Submissions (Volume 1, Issue 1)

Submit Your Work to CJELT

The Contemporary Journal of English Language Teaching (CJELT) welcomes submissions from researchers, teacher educators, classroom teachers, graduate students, and education professionals from around the world working in English language teaching and language education.

CJELT is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to scholarship in English language teaching, TESOL, teacher education, applied linguistics, literacy, assessment, technology-enhanced language learning, AI in language education, and language education policy.

Now accepting submissions for Volume 1, Issue 1. CJELT’s inaugural issue will close in December 2026. From 2027 onward, CJELT will publish two issues each year, with Issue 1 closing in June and Issue 2 closing in December. Articles will be published online continuously once they complete review, revision, copyediting, and formatting.
